Removing your electric meter
Whether you’re working on a large-scale project, such as a commercial development or if you’re getting ready to move into your new home, we can coordinate your electricity meter removal, as you require whilst also ensuring they’re kept within a budget and time frame that suits you.
From start to finish, we can oversee every aspect of removing an electric meter including:
- Electric meter move
- Electric meter installations
- Electric meter removal
- Any queries relating to electric infrastructure and utilities
All work carried out by fully accredited and approved engineers
We do this by only working with accredited engineers, who we trust to deliver and ensure a secure infrastructure your business or home in order for it to run smoothly for many years to come.
Our deep understanding and knowledge of the industry allow us to ensure that all of the required work is carried out in the most efficient and cost-effective manner possible. From start to finish, we work with the most capable technicians and correspond with every incumbent statutory body and network provider to ensure we deliver a fully accredited, OFGEM-approved final result.
The network provider will need to de-energise the service before the process begins, as this is a very dangerous process to perform, and it’s against the law for anyone else to try and attempt it. Once the supply has been de-energised, a certified electrician can then uninstall the meter.
You can still have the infrastructure for electricity but if you don’t register an electric meter within 6 months of the original meter being removed, the electricity supply will be disconnected from the source. You will then need to apply for a new electricity connection.
